Learn the Vray Proxy technique in V-Ray.
So what is V-Ray Proxy?
VRayProxy imports geometry from an external vrmesh file at render time only. The original heavy geometry is not present in the Maya scene.
Instead of this heavy geometry, only light geometry is shown in the viewport which is necessary for previewing.

if I have no animation file but it will be use reference(with rigg) for another animation file...so what i do ? Export animation box check or uncheck??

I'm slightly confused what you are trying to ask me. I normally don't use this technique for animation. I use it for high polygonal object like tree, heavy chair, sofa, flowers etc. If you want to do animation in future in object/like character then don't use proxy technique on that object

Hello, how do i create new shaders for the tree if i use paint effects. When i render with vray they dont show correctly. Help

You need to convert paint effect tree to polygons. Go to Modify Menu => Convert => Select Paint effect to polygons. (You might need to increase poly limit in settings) Then select trees leaves mesh and apply vray material.

Ok thanx but i tried that and im mot able to get the materials right, when i apply a new material and load the tiff leaf textures it says failed to load bitmap and if it does load when i render with vray the leaves does not appear in the render. Thak you for the reply.

if u import that same vrmesh file into different file, all the texture are missing, could u please help me how to import proxies in maya in new file.

This is what I do If I want to use an object in multiple files. First I make a new Maya file. Then make the object e.g. tree object a Vray proxy the same way I did in the tutorial. And save file as Tree_proxy.mb . Now whenever I want to use this tree proxy. I import tree_proxy.mb Maya file in the project scene file. You will get All the materials.

Yes. First I save a Maya file which contains proxy object. Then instead of importing Vray proxy. I import Maya scene file which contains the proxy object.
