Once I went to a wolf rescue with a group of people. Some friends. Some strangers. After listening to all that information and meeting a wolf face to face we went to dinner. Guess what? Everyone but me started talking about how it's good to kill wolves. I was shocked. Didn't think I was in that kind of company.

Someone should start program where Wolves can be rehomes from areas they are being hunted to areas they would be appreciated.
@overlysleepy Жыл бұрын
The problem with that is if they're relocated to a new wildlife area they have no awareness to the predators or resources around so it be easy to die as an adult wolf without knowing the lay of the land while exploring your new environment. That's why they end up in wildlife facilities. People are their main predator and if the trespass we get killings.
@xavierlehew6746 Жыл бұрын
Wolves can very easily disrupt the balance of nature, theyre prone to killing more than necessary for survival. Beautiful animals but its complicated introducing apex predators with this specific trait into new habitats.

the thing in montana, idaho and wyoming is there are too many wolves bruh. hunting them in of itself isnt unethical. hitting them with snowmobiles is. but wolves are a danger to other animal populations in those states. especially montana. laws mightve changed but last i checked 1 dude can kill 5 wolves per season because they are such a problem. theyre killing off the elk, and moose in a lot of places in montana
@blublum7916 Жыл бұрын
Just for "trophy hunting" is very false. Clearly she's never been to those states and seen the amount of cattle. Wolves aren't loving and sweet.
@Saturnm0ss Жыл бұрын
Yeah but trophy hunting is a HUGE problem as well
@canifer5546 Жыл бұрын
Wolves only kill 0.1% of livestock in areas where both live. Maybe a better solution would be petitioning state governments to reimburse lost livestock to mitigate tension and loss? (Also wolves aren't loving and sweet in the same way deer or mountain goats aren't, they're wild animals)

@@canifer5546No, a MN girl losing a 4h calf, and when her school closes, and that very same state has a billion for a NFL team. That is within the context of most veterans rural, when you read census vets by district, but they all trust the Ivy League here. 2835 annual calf loses is not 0.1%. National Agricultural Statistics. Colorado State Extension. Northern Minnesota. Rural Colorado. Not feedlots.
