At XCaret, a Mayan theme park in the Mayan Riviera in Mexico we saw a game played like hockey only using a fire ball.

Pasárutakua - is a traditional P'urhepécha game created 3,500 years ago, similar to hockey, uses curved sticks and a ball which has been set on fire, and the game can be played at night. The sport originated as a representation of a Purhepécha legend of a battle between day and night with the flaming ball signifying the sun and the players representing the movement of the universe.

They say that when the electronic rays of the sun vector into the magnetic rays from the earth, that's where you will find gold,, and the white quartz that often surrounds the gold is the residue of that interaction.
