Chavez in the 60’s and 70’s for their to be recognition of our blood and heritage! The Dodger stadium piece made me yell out in admiration because most don’t know what happen the families that were housed there as the stadium literally had that community bulldozed while they were ripped out of their homes! Except it’s not your land. You all have an odd and twisted understanding of history. Prior to the Mexican-American war; it was a Spaniard colony up until 1821. And prior to its Spaniard colonialism, Spain had already been ruling since the 15th century. When the 19th century war happened Mexico lost the war, signed the treaty and were paid. Hello California! Mexicans that derive from colonizing Spaniards + other admixed groups are just that, a hodge podge, newly formed, 500 years old. The land never belonged to your group. You’re a product of colonialism. Lastly, while it’s unfortunate that happened @ dodgers stadium, you have a whole country with plenty of land that you emigrated from. Your choice to be here is your choice.
