Kiyotaka Ayanokoji's Performance in Physical Abiltiies in fighting Lowers,So does his Manipulation efficiency as he won't need them anymore, therefore the author can actually show that Kiyotaka was a side character, About to get sideswiped by maybe a new whiteroomer,Koenji,or Takuya returning. He fulfills his goal at the cost of not being top 1 anymore. Or we scrap all of that, he returns to WR as he said in the end of Y1 and becomes even better.

The only one who can take ayanokouji out of the top 1 is koenji, because the only thing that differentiates them is the fact that ayanokouji doesn't care about anyone... so he has no attachment. ( but Koenji truly cares about Mii Chan) but I don't see Ayanokouji being a normal boy even after falling in love, he has all the knowledge of WR, he has his adaptability, he knows several martial arts.
