One of, if not THE best, McCartney compositions of all time. I think on his recording, the guitar break could have been done better....I didn't care for the tone of the guitar. I ❤ this all piano version.

I love this song, but I really appreciate your sharing your workflow process. It's an inspiration to me. As far singing this song, I think you're right. Too many words to change for a woman to do it justice. I don't sing that well, but if you'd accompany me, I think you could make me look good. Beautifully played and some praise goes to the composer too. We never had the chance to experience how Mozart Beethoven Grieg et al imagined their music performed, but we were lucky to live when music was recorded exactly, or close to it, how really brilliant composers first heard the music ... in their own heads.The ground breaking musicians in the 1960 to 1980 are fewer. "Heard for the first timers" remark, these days you could have made three hit songs from what is that one song these days. And then we have musicians like you who have the benefit of hindsight and so can get inside the music and lift it higher.
