I do wish you would shout out the actual creator of Handplates, Zarla, too because it is her work that is incredible. And Starbot Dubs notably made a few...debatable choices in terms of editing and adapting it. Plus, Zarla deserves her credit and I can't tell you how many people watched this dub and kept being astonished for years that the comic was not over where this particular dub ended and instead kept going until last year.

Ah, so that's what the white is. I'm guessing that the covered face signifies someone who's been wiped from existence by falling into the Core, much like we know Gaster did. Since this is a flashback of sorts, we're seeing Gaster, a monster who by all accounts never existed, and the white flame signifies that.

07:45 in Undertale each monster Magic is an expresión of themself, but It's also tie to the kind of monster they are, Sans and Papyrus are the only ones that can turn your soul Blue and move You around by doing so, other monsters like Undyne and Muffet can also turn your soul in a diferent color, but they work diferently, having very diferent effects. 22:22 not reading too much into it, just reading the wrong thing, the implication is that some of the staff already fell and have been erased alongside everyones memorys of them. 24:58 he probably will, he really cares a lot for his people safety, and in game there is a system put in place that makes solid tiles apear under you if you somehow manage to get of the safe path

I believe san's lack of damage is due to the fact he's only attacked things that haven't done any harm, eg training dummies. In game his damage out put is significantly high because its linked to a new system called KR(AkA karma) this makes me think he can only hurt people based on their LV instead of a set limit determined by his LV

I think it's a bit different. His damage is still only 1dmg per hit, regardless of LV. However, I think that sans somehow bypasses the little s time you get after being hit because of how low the damage is. That again causes the 1dmg to stack significantly depending on the time period you were touching it.

@LostGlitching fair enough that's also very plausible, I was thinking along the lines of an in comic explanation because Iframes probably aren't a concept for them. I also thought it because sans hasn't actually used his own magic to hurt someone in the comic until this point and the only person he would use it on would be gaster which papyrus has been shown intercepting attacks so sans hasn't actually landed one

I would also like to say if you’re certain types of autistic because I distinctly remember watching this as like a 12-year-old kid and feeling utterly nothing like I didn’t take enjoyment from it but like I also didn’t care I’m just like oh cool actually it’s even weird because I think it was my special interest for awhile so I was actually fascinated by it, especially the episodes when they got hurt. The VA changes part way through and you have to start watching in individual parts but I didn't mind so much. And while the story does get better it also still has some heavy emotional stuff. Just not nearly to the degree of what Airier has yet to see.

Not really. Sure for us he's a nightmare, but he's only truly as effective as he is due to exploiting the RPG mechanics of a turn based game. For example attacking out of turn, taking his turns for longer than is expected, attacking first, etc. he uses his knowledge of the anomaly/us the player against us in a way that is unexpected and not fair. But canonically the strongest monsters would be non held back Asgore, Undyne, 1/7 soul absorbed Asriel, etc. Sans is certainly powerful, but he is ultimately a mobile glass cannon.
