Ishq Hai: There was a famous real story which actually happened in our village. A girl loved a boy but he wasn't from their caste. When father got to know about it, he said to her daughter that put your finger on any man in our family or caste and i will marry you with that man but don't marry this guy. She denied it to which he called the boy and his family, he let her get married with that guy and nikkah ceremony was held on the road of the village and he said to her that this is day you are dead for us and we are dead for you. Her father died after 14 years of her marriage and in those 14 years he never met her and before dying, he said to his sons that don't let her see my face and at the end, exactly that happened. They didn't let her see his face even though she was running in the streets to see her father's face. This is the ego which is nurtured in our society. You just get confused. People still praise him till day, my mother gives his example that he didn't kill his daughter in the name of Honour but he did the right thing. I mean this is the standard where we are judging that man. You just can't say anything about him or point a finger at him because you get the answer that 'I didn't kill her in the name of Honour but mein ne apni izzat bachai'.... You think after seeing this any girl would have the guts to go against her family? This is even worse than honour killing. This is what will happen in ishq hai too

And sorry to say they don't show such aggressive men to show that he is psychotic and don't be like him, they want to glorify such obsessive aggressive male personalities... Exactly! Although, they would show the girl reacting in the beginning, but then gradually they would start showing Shahzaib in a positive light, fighting the family for her, and the girl accepting him. Conclusion, as I always say, ‘take the girl you like , though force, she would eventually fall in line’, is the message given out in such dramas like Muqaddar.

I really relate to Noor's character in "Akhir Kab Tak". My father always supported his brothers and sister. My mother is\was always evil to him, he made sure we know that he loves his siblings more then he loves us. No matter how much I\we tried to make him understand our love and affection he ALWAYS took their side. It hurts to know children like us, go through so much emotional trauma. Loved the representation here. Saim asking Fajar's consent is very much appreciated. Men need to know that there are some limts when it comes to marriage life. After Nikkah you donot completely own the wife.

DNUTN: Every week we appreciate Yumna, Wahaj for their performance, we must also talk about Kashif Mehmood as Sherwani. I have not seen such a convincing villain in years in Pakistani drama. His dialogue delivery, body language, expressions, eye movement are par excellence. His lecherous smile, while saying, bhabhi ji ko utah kar le Jana ho ga.....”, showed the extent of ‘ khabasat’ of the character. Well done👏👏👏 The character looks so real, I am reminded of the Molvi, Qavi and another who said, “ 16 saal ki na milay to 8, 8 saal ki Do chalay gi”. Let’s see if the father is able to see through his hypocrisy or remains blind folded like majority of our society who rely on such creeps to learn Islam from.

I know DNUTN fans would perhaps be offended if i draw parallels between this wonderful drama and another wonderful story that I read in the form of a novel. It was Nemrah Ahmed's Naml.......there are so many similarities between the two.....I know I might sound ludicrous but seriously I couldn't ignore the strong resemblance........both the stories (DNUTN and Naml) have an element of thrill and mystery in them, both have beautifully gray characters, both have exemplary males as well as strong females, both stories have addressed the rotten evils of society and the victims of the system so meticulously, both the stories clearly reflect the grand magnitude of research that must have been invested by the respective authors.....and of course both of them are written by Pakistani 'female' authors, which makes me feel so proud that we have such gems.

DNUTN - today I would like to comment on Zulfi's character - what an understated hero he is! Hero as in not just a protagonist in a story but real HERO + role-model material. He appears to have an abundance of quiet strength and nobility without the fanfare of posturing and basking in constant limelight as can be expected from another leading/central character in a story. I would like to believe that even though he works within the underbelly of this society and hobnobs with many a filthy excuse for human beings running this racket, he has some innate goodness and a strong sense of justice. Perhaps he compromises at times on doing the right thing the right way albeit for the right reasons but there is something definitely endearing about his character. Omair Rana has done a fabulous job - from a lecher in Pyar ke sadqay to Zulfi in DNUTN - he makes us hate and love his characters with equal passion. Also that little kid Rubab with her inventive tongue and confident storytelling!

Side with Hassan on Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahi premise ! But indeed the beauty of Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahi lies in the suspense it has attached ! But I do not think by any stretch that Jimmy and TM are evil! The drama is coming to its end and the element of HOPE cannot go down the drain like this ! Also Omair will be a good guy in the end !

DNUTN:it could be that ZULFI IS an undercover officer.....he needs Rakhi's and Sawera's help to unreveal the racket.......maybe Zulfi will also send Naseem Zehra there for the same purpose but will somehow protect her...... Maybe when TM was saying JImmy nahi manega there TM meant he wont agree to Risk Rakhi"s life because if she gets involved in all these she might end up gettting killed and he wont agree to take this risk.....if you guys remember there was a scene of Jimmy And Rakkhi where Jimmy was making his vlog and Rakkhi says "mai bhi aishe apni kahani batana chahti hoo,sabke naam batake unhe benakab karna chahti hoon"..........and jimmy then convinces her to not to do this.......(I think then he was worried about her safety) as Big boss says "jab tak ye log chup rahe tab tak kuch karne ki zaroorat nahi..koi bhi hamare khilaf mu khole toh unhe mar dena" and of course this is really misterious and thrilling...in spite of not being a thriller......its way more intrigueing than the other thrillers......you literally cannot predict anything about whats gonna happen........

U missed out one point in AKT, the point where Noor's mother tells her that she isnt gonna allow her to go out of the house after what happened to Fajar and Noor raised there a good point that Un jaiso ko saza milni chahiye na ki un jaiso ki wajah se hum jaisi ladkiya ghar me qaid hojay! Something like tht but I felt that was a very strong point!

Laila Wasti's powerful performance with beautiful expressions and dialogue delivery 💯💕👏. I am glad that she accepted this role as Haider's mother in Dunk. I must say all performances were awesome. It's a sad reality that most of the fathers always blame mothers for everything and keep boasting about how they play their role financially in children's life. In fact they are the ones who are not good husbands and fathers. Haider is concerned about professor's wife that's why he will back off from case. He will prove his innocence in his own way.

Ya I'm with Hassan's analysis as well. But it's anyone's guess really. I think there was a slight lilt on Jimmy's position as well...hmm. perhaps NGO type people need inroads with the enemy or else they can't get to the core of the social issue. Yet Zulfi's taking Naseem zehra to his home and saying she's Aisha errr... That puts a diff light on Zulfi. Confusing!

I thought nothing could beat the nonsensical, problematic script of KAM3, to my horror, Ishaq hae has become it’s strong contender. Watching these dramas, it seems Pakistan is surplus in 3 things: 1. Obsessive aashiqs, who are psychotic. For them ishq is conquering the girl, even through destroying the girl or themselves. 2. Bitchy, taunting women. Their sole aim is to emotionally disintegrate the opponent thought their venomous words. These can be anyone, a saas, a bhabi, naadh, neighbour or even the mother. 3. Izzat. Every family has overflowing izzat. They are the most pious, the most honest, the most just, the most God fearing, the most compassionate. The only weak thing that makes them lose their izzat are their daughters. If the daughter likes a boy, in ki izzat gai.” Tum mar kyon nahi gai”. “ tum paida kyon hoi”. All these categories have unique brains, that are made up of a mono cell. 🙃This single cell makes them capable of doing one task only, which they do very passionately, and are even willing to kill or die. Their weapons are toxic tongues, emotional blackmail, baddua. Our army should think about using them in warfare, to rupture the enemy, using their tongues as splinters.🤪

DNUTN: the person who makes DNUTN'S promos deserves to be appreciated 👏👏every single promo has a lot of suspense in it...never give away anything and leave us wanting for more...I keep on watching the promos over and over again 😅 Amazing episode...zulfi and TM are the most dubious characters but I don't think TM is the big boss really can't understand what they are upto. Next episode's promo is 🔥🔥 really looking forward to the next episode coz Ikram is back in the picture also, naeem sherwani will be asking for marrying hijab.

Hassan is spot on with DNUTN’s review. Aamna maybe reading too much into the actions of TM, Zulfi and Jimmy.. Hassan has got this right. Agree, TM may be a little hard to comprehend, but yes, Zulfi is an undercover agent who will unravel the mystery, and Jimmy is a sweetheart! And no, they’re not in cahoots.. This is the beauty of this drama, unpredictable and intense.. leaves us longing for more😊

In DNUTN I agree with Hassan that Zulfi and TM are helping these children. Such a suspense throughout episode. I saw Savera Baji telling Sumbul not to cover her face when she is lying down, I notice her saying many times,I hope Sumbul doesn't get hurt in the end. Amazing performances as always.

I agree with Aamna that Affan Waheed is always given a character with very little margin to perform. It seems like, it's the same case in Pardes too because Affan has said in two interviews that his character in Pardes is not very interesting or important but he had chosen the drama because the story was amazing and unique :( #JusticeForAffan

Hasan, in Pardes, when Aliya comes to see her mom, she does say that after 8 years, she is finally going to join her husband. But she does remind her mother of her bearing the punishment of what they did to Zubi. But she did say she was going to be with her husband after 8 years. Also, I think Zubi has turned into a robot due to so many years of emotional and mental abuse by her in-laws. I think deep down she resents Ahsan for leaving them for so long. When she offered to stay back to take care of her mother in law (which was wrong to begin with) but she didn't t expect that Ahsan would stay abroad for that long. She always used to tell him, that she needed him there. I think she kind of gave up on things changing, and let everything go.

Out of all these dramas I'm only watching DNUTN so I'm gonna comment on that only. The episode was excellent as always, thrilling and emotional. I agree with Hassan because that's exactly what I thought after watching the episode. Zulfi is an undercover agent. He can't blow up his cover so he has to keep working for the big boss until he gets some solid proof against him and other people involved in the chain. TM and Jimmy can't be involved in this. But I think TM takes money from Zulfi because he just sees it as charity but Jimmy asks him to return it because then Zulfi could ask for some favor that they can't give and he's right. Many people do give charity but often ask something in return eventually. But if zulfi is planning on taking naseem zehra to the big boss as bait, I don't know how he would be able to protect her there. I hope nothing bad happens to sawera I'm anxious for her as she has separated from rakhi now. Big boss could send someone to the shelter house in disguise to kill her or something.

I agree with Hassan Bhai that Jimmy being vile will be absurd and go against the theme of the drama: that even if darkest of time, don’t lose hope for a light of ease will come. For Sumble to endure so much trauma and come across the most horrendous of human beings, Jimmy and Savera became an exception and for the former to be actually evil, will be absurd. I am on Team Hassan for Zulfi being an undercover cop but also with Amna Ma’am that he is two-timing because why did he send TM the money and why does he it? As for TM I also think that he is shady and isn’t what he seems because his convo with Zulfi, the convo with the police officer doesn’t add up. I think that Zulfi and TM might use Sumbul and Savera as bait to trap big boss but at this point I don’t know any of the characters (except for Naseem track and Sumble& Savera) properly and placing trust on them isn’t possible.

DNUTN is in a class of its own. The acting, direction, the writing, are all flawless.The three major channels that didn't take this drama shot themselves in the leg. In fact its kind of pathetic GEO took a drama as awful as Ishq Hai, but not DNUTN. Ishq Hai is an awful over the top, start plus type, awful drama. The only thing worse than that is the sound effects. They are honestly comical at this point!

I am team hassan on dnutn. Because yumna in an interview said that there are almost 22-23 episodes which means that the show is about to end pretty soon. And the main thing is the title of the show itself is dil NaUmmed Nhi meaning that there is light at the end of the tunnel. No way can they show these two as baddies.

Tm is a part of this racket. Two or three episodes back Allah Rakhi did mention to Tm that she's seen his paintings or similar to those at Nizami's house. So Tm is obviously involved. All in all, it's super intriguing serial drama, keeping us all hooked to it❤️❤️

Zulfi and TM cannot be the bad guys. Zulfi is definitely an under cover cop. Also I think they were talking about Sumbal when TM said something like Jimmy kabhi nahi manega. They already have Naseem Zehra but I guess they need Sumbal too to be part of whatever they're planning to help them succeed.

Zulfi is still Schrodinger's cat. He displays emotions reminiscing his sister when talking to Naseem, but also manipulates her to come with him. Strong hunch that Baba Ranjha is Big Boss. I was totally sure that Sherwani would ask for Hijaab in Naseem's absence, because he has been interested in her for his physical interests. He probably didn't wait for Naseem to come of age, possibly his wife was alive back then and he couldn't have done anything about it.

Aamna is wrong, there's usually not a "cause" for mental illnesses like OCD. I had OCD since I was 7 years old. Nothing significant triggered/caused it. OCD is due to genetic and hereditary factors
