Thanks so much, Jaka! Another great post from you! I am glad you had the opportunity to get up so close and interact with the dancers. Looks like you were participating, too. Although I'll probably never visit the D.P.R.K., I feel your posts give me a better idea of what day-to-day life is like. In 1970 I cut sugar cane for four months in Cuba; for a few days our brigade cut cane with volunteers from the D.P.R.K., and had the opportunity to chat with some members of this brigade (now, 46 years later, they'd be senior citizens, like myself) our conversations were necessarily superficial. Your posts give me a better idea of life there.

Sometimes I would like that other countries had a similar culture and perform similar activities. You know, like dancing to traditional music, play instruments, read books, traveling, sports, having healthy fun with friends, theatre etc. Our culture in some aspects is completely decadent. That is what I like about the socialists countries. People live an overal peaceful life and do healthy activities.

In other words: what socialism tried to destroy before realising it was necessary, and then ham-fistedly enforcing it.

@vesnaKrasiva7 жыл бұрын
Who is interested, then most likely they do not dance because they want it. In Russia, there is still such a thing, if you work at a state enterprise (hospital, school, factory, etc.), then some employees should attend such events (Mayday, sports events). This is called "the order". Each department must provide a certain number of people.

+Gonzo W. How bad your moral is by judging people a propagandist without any knowledge. Jaka Parker was an Indonesian diplomat from 2012-2016. At that time, he and his wife were working for Indonesian's Embassy in Pyongyang, DPRK. Therefore, all of the video that he uploaded to his KZbin channel are all recorded while he was still there. They (Jaka and his wife) don't work for Kim, but they worked for Indonesia because Indonesia has diplomatic relationship with DPRK.
@farrelfzeta69087 жыл бұрын
+Gonzo W. Don't judge people with your basic and probably unproved knowledge. You don't know anything about Indonesia-DPRK relationship, details about Jaka Parker probably because you are not Indonesian, you don't even know how to speak well, don't know how to think before speak. What else? You should see yourself in front of your mirror and that is you. If you know all that I just said, you might not be like that.

@johnturner57007 жыл бұрын
No Jaka. I would love to visit North Korea. From the little I've seen it's a beautiful country, but an American in NK with it's current leader in power would be dumb. I just want to see what it's like outside the city. I like to get out of the city, go camping and fishing in the mountains. I like the outdoors. All you show us is the city life of Pyongyang. Show us some people enjoying the outdoors. Camping, fishing, hiking, canoeing, white water rafting, kayaking. Show us outdoor music festivals, concerts, Barbecue cooking contests. Surely there is more to do in NK than attend festivals in Pyongyang?

You keep saying it's peaceful. So tell me. How feasible would it be for a White European to fly over there to live and become a citizen and be able to do all of the things that one can do in the western world. Can I travel freely around the state? Can I visit Wonsan? Are condoms real there? What are cancer treatments like? How often does power go out? Does the power go out through the whole state? You should really do a Q&A video. Why don't you make a video also commenting on the false narrative the rest of the world has created regarding North Korea, and correct all of the misconceptions?
@locouk7 жыл бұрын
GibsonSGfan462 666 Google "James Joseph Dresnok", he's an American who defected to North Korea. There are you tube videos about him too.
@sshark50077 жыл бұрын
Maybe you should get a dictionary and look up what "peaceful" means, because none of the questions you asked are directly related to peace at all. Access to modern conveniences of the western world aren't related to peace, in fact you could argue the opposite, given we are often taught in the west that we have the brave efforts of brave soldiers in past wars to be thankful of for today's prosperity.
