I first discovered Mayday Parade when I was a confused, lonely middle schooler with undiagnosed depression and other mental illnesses. They made me feel understood back then. Hearing them say "It's good to feel something" now, as an adult who's been slowly getting better with therapy and medication, makes me feel understood and reminds me of how far I've come.
