I first heard of this song through two girls a year older than me performing it, one playing violin and the other singing. Me and my girlfriend dated for 5 years. Without seeing each other, in person. We went on Skype 4 days a week. I planned on marrying her soon, So i asked her to visit and ill pay for the ticket. As i swipe my card to pay i look at the news.....A plane had blown up before landing, and there was no survivors. I looked at the texts between me and my girlfriend to see if it was her flight. And it was...all i can say now is i love you.

I agree. I have a schoolmate in High School. She is one of the most kindest and warmest of hearts. She had a disease so this classmates of hers are concern, visiting her in the hospital. She came to school and then she came back to the hospital because of stress. Then she died and all of her classmates cried for her and at their graduation, she was given an award for being a good student. Life is very cruel and unfair, but I suppose it only makes us stronger by each passing day

I'd helped her avert suicide as a solution to her problems on several occasions but after a weekend away I returned to the news that she had taken her life. 12 years since this came out. I was in middle/high school around this time. This song didn't mean much to me. And when you get older life somehow gets more harder. My boyfriend has stomach cancer, they caught it early but told him they need to wait to see how it goes. And I am so terrified of it , it makes me so sick all I want for him is to be okay. I do not know what I'll do if...if things go wrong. Nothing has happened yet but I am so consumed by the fear of it. This song hurts so much more than I ever thought it could.
