Glueing a leaf on top of an exposed water pick - genius! It's so simple but I've never thought of that. I usually try adding more and more greens to keep them covered but then it can get too thick for my liking.

@christygriner6 жыл бұрын
Oh, gosh! I am not sure. We keep a collection of hoops in a range of sizes -- I think the hoops cost like, $2.00 each, maybe? We have a ton of them floating around and just grab the needed size! I am sorry I don't know the exact dimensions of that one...

I loved the concept but the preview pic on the video was for a very large hoop. I was hoping to find mechanics on how to create something of that size and/or where to purchase the frame. The actual video is a much smaller hoop.
@Mayesh6 жыл бұрын
Hi Christina, here's a blog post with some sources for the frame: www.mayesh.com/moon-gate-arches-and-floral-hoops/. The mechanics are pretty similar to what Christy did in the video, but also you can reference are arch videos that we have published: www.mayesh.com/mayesh-design-star-ceremony-arch/ and www.mayesh.com/mayesh-design-star-smilax-floral-arbor/. Hope this helps! Thank you for watching!

Hi Teresa - here's what I have in the description: P.S. We asked Christy where to purchase the large event hoop and she recommends to connect with a local welder who can create a great custom piece for you. A great addition to your rental inventory!

Hi, Teresa! It's easily built with Electrical Metal Tubing, though other materials can be used. Takes no time. I made this one for Christy.

We used Electrical Metal Tubing. The trick is the weight of whatever you use to make the circle. We found that with a heavier weight the form can be used as a chandelier without it being so sensitive to the weight of the greenery or the flowers. It's super easy to get the form made and really cheap. Great investment for a flower shop or event florist.

I know this is a little late, but I found double rail wreath rings for over-sized wreaths. I'm weaving grapevines through the base for a bit more structure. Might work for you. 0362ce4.netsolstores.com/ezshipwreathrings.aspx
