I found about you in the randomest way, when you were on "What Not To Wear" in the 2000s haha 😂 I'm glad I did, you're awesome, and now that I see you're talking about mental health, even more awesome

Just found out about your podcast thanks to Drew... This is awesome. Have so much admiration for your willingness to talk openly about your struggles. Could you do something about how people who have experienced a breakdown (manic episode) begin and start the process of putting their lives back together? There's almost nothing about this subject anywhere in popular culture... Either about the psychosis of breakdowns and what that can do to a person and their relationship with the world, and how (after they have been *treated*) they manage to put all the pieces back together! Thanks. Love your work!

If I had 1 wish, I would desperately wish to see more empathy in the world. There’s a whole lot wrong in this world, but a little humanity and kindness can go a long way. You make ripples in the universe. Why not make them amazing?💐

I love Mayim she has more intelligence in her finger nail than I do in my brain but she seems like a wonderfully grounded human being with a great ability to converse without making us feel tiny. Can I also say that Drew is just adorably warm in this show.

Imsure she is wonderful, but you have to understand that she has a lot of trauma in her past. Life isn't just what you see in a 5 min segment. I also noticed you have a low self concept. Where does that come from, is it serving you well?

Mayim’s podcast is a must to listen to. Even if you cannot personally relate to the topic, it will help you understand others that may have it. It’ll definitely help reduce the stigma around mental health especially, to disorders.

I love that you both share with us about mental health. My mom suffered from depression and in the late 60's - Through the seventies you didn't talk about it, brush it under the rug it will go away. So thank you both so much.

I work for a mental health organisation called NAMI-NYC and speak about my mental health experiences regularly as part od the IOOV programme. It is the best therapy, learning how to talk about my experiences and being able to do so came from doing it and practicing regularly. AND people actually want to listen and share their own stories, it's life saving.

I remember when we as a society started talking about some tough subjects...breast cancer, sex abuse, addiction and mental illness. Because I am aware of these things I have better coping skills...my mother and grandmother were alcoholics...I conscientiously chose not to drink often or much. Positive vibes from New Hampshire and remember to be kind to each other and yourself during this pandemic and social crisis

So, that night, we watched Beaches, and I cried the whole time, and he was confused the whole time, but it was still a wonderful experience. This interview between 2 amazing, genuine, honest mommas really made my day. Thank you 🙏❤️🙂

The best thing I’ve done for my mental health is to have Neuro Emotional Technique (NET). It has completely changed me and I can’t speak highly enough of it. It helps process the trauma in the body. I also researched covert narcissism which I believe some people in my life have. Have a great day, everyone. Hello from Australia.

3:31 Mayim shouldn't have interrupted Drew while she was just about to talk about something that was clearly very emotional to her. If you wanna talk about mental health, you also need to recognize when to listen. A little ironic considering the topic at hand (not allowed to speak).

Mayim is fun but thinks very highly of herself. She’s always mocking people and saying things like “I don’t wanna be that person”. She is trying way too hard to be relatable to the “common” people. Half of her interview is her talking about how relatable she is.
@Apo12345
@Apo12345 3 жыл бұрын
I like her, but I think that she defines her worth mostly through her being very academic, and that is not relatable to most people. And it shouldn't be that way, since being a human trying to be kind should be enough for one grown person's self esteem.

What I got from this is everyone is overthinking the life they're given. Stop doing that. Use common sense and if you don't have any, you'd better learn how that works fast or you're done.
