Suggestion, print calendars at 75-90% to get size you need. I’ve decorated composition books before. I also cut them down to use in my travelers notebooks. Pay $.88 - $1 each so no loss when cutting down.

Wow! Thanks, Maymay! I can see how well this is all coming together, and so easy to do! I think I'll make one for the rest of the year to better keep up daily with my Bible reading and prayer requests! I appreciate your 'simple' method of creating things!

May May, I love your tutorials. I so want to try this but I get nervous that I will make it upside down, sideways or inside out...LOL I love how you say that your not going to stress about it. I need to NOT STRESS! hahaha Thank you so much!

I wonder if the front didn't buckle because you had more layers that stopped it from soaking into the cover? Neat project. I may have to give this a try! TFS

If you wanted to avoid trimming the calendar page, you could also set your printer to print at 95% or 90% size.

Awesome project! I am having so much fun watching the planner come together. I have a question...which of the Fiscars cutters are you using? I am in the market for a new one, and I love the style you have, but there are so many different kinds from Fiscars, that I am having trouble figuring out which one you are using. Do you have a link to where I could get it online?

She has the link for her cutter in the description box

Letha Richardson thismuseofmine I am using the a Fiskars Rotary Trimmer. I have two of them, one has a swing arm and the other is the platform style. I love them! I have found that rotary trimmers are heads above the rest!

I tried ModPodge and my pages wrinkled. I think I put too much on it. But I'm going to try again. I can always use this book for doodling.

How did your attempt at correcting the back's buckling come out?
@MaymayMadeIt8 жыл бұрын
+SunShineCrafties it's been a long time since I made this but I don't remember it buckling. I used this planner a long time and loved it. It worked great for me. Sorry for not remembering it. I know I didn't correct anything for sure. I just used it.

@lynnwilcoxson79 жыл бұрын
Amy, I thought of something I was asking my husband about this project and the buckling. Sam, my husband, said why couldn't you laminate instead what he called the glue LOLL...Sam is a highly decorated Combat Veteran and he said that while he was in the military they would laminate all their maps so it would not only protect them but so they could right on them as well. Do you think that would work on this project? I am going to try that and see because I have to now it is the curiosity that is getting the best of me LOLLL
@MaymayMadeIt9 жыл бұрын
lynnwilcoxson7 I bet it would work wonderfully, let me know how it turns out...thanks. Please thank your Husband for his service and thank you for supporting him!
