me and cereal boxes are best friends! I learned alot of projects as a kid and still use them lol... my favorite hack is hiding my own treats in boxes of things that I know my kids/husband wont touch! Example being the rare chance I can buy a certain candy.. My husband is diabetic and my 3 adult kids always snag sweets that I get myself.. Hiding my Reeses in a Kashi " cereal box" helps lol... my Grandpa used to close actual cereal boxes like this hack. My Grandma still does! 💜

Love this. Would love to see a shorter treat box to gift to as a "random act of kindness" to several of my coworkers. I'm thinking an edible treat inside such as two home made cookies and/or chocolate. I thinking a 4th of July random treat or simply as a "thank you." Looking forward to your next tutorial with the smaller sizes.

This is a great idea. Glad you found it and shared it. But I have a thought since it's so hard to retie a bow once we've cut off the tails like we do. How about putting a faux bow just make a bow, and attach it to the front with a glue dot, or glue or tape or whatever. That way it still is an easy opening box and they don't have to fool with tying and untying the bow to open it.

Hi! Thank you for sharing this hack with us. Your take on the cereal box hack is a classier version for sure! I had a question about the folding on the score lines. I noticed you folded the flaps towards the score's indentation. I've watched a few other videos that suggests folding it away from the indentation. Meaning, where the indentation is, that becomes the outside of the fold. I've heard it described as "the valley becomes the mountain and the mountain becomes the valley" I think those were Gayle Agostinelli's description. She called it "life changing". I was curious about your technique and how it works for you. TYIAT (Thank you in advance.)

So cute. I've stored cereal like that for years. Never thought to make a box tho. Glad you did! It would be good filled with "Vinnie's Vittles" Snack mix. Portion control ... because I could .. if left too long with an open bowl of it.... well, the results.. not good LOL. No, seriously I would be able to control, but a box this size would be the perfect gift (or starter) size for that particular snack mix. Thanks for showing this. Have an Awesome week. y'all. *LK*

This might be a dumb question, but does it matter what side you fold to? Is the fold towards the score side or back over to the other side. Does it matter?
@MaymayMadeIt4 жыл бұрын
I folded toward the side that was glued so my seen would be in the back. I hope that makes sense!!
