I saw Puscifer live on the Conditions of My Parole tour. Awesome. It was presented just as he described the Talking Heads show. And I always wondered where he got the idea. And being a live sound engineer I was stunned by all the technical planning needed and implemented for this show. It was a large theater/hall stage, empty but for Corrina and Maynard singing upstage center, just two mic stands and the two of them. Then, over a short time, came the mini Airstream, pulled by hand, and out came the guitar player and his rig, a campfire, grill, chairs, the works, while upstage left a hay wagon rolled out, again, pulled by hand, and I think it had the kit on it, plus maybe the bass rig, but bottom line was that we, the whole audience, watched a stage production get built in real time before our eyes while simultaneously performing without any gap in music and also blowing our minds with the beautiful Americana feel yet making a parody of the whole moronic, ignorant, undereducated, “ignorance is bliss” shone clear as an azure sky. Puscifer. Yes.

Unless he "tows the line" the industry will ignore him. That is just the way propaganda works, and the entertainment industry is 95% anti-American values propaganda. This is not new in the USA, but it has grown since the mass usage of the Radio and TV. This is just a possibility in my mind; If Maynard did not sense something is wrong in the entertainment industry, he would not have started a vineyard, (a way out).

I want and need live music, it is my meal ticket, I’m a live sound engineer and own my own small sound company, and my future is so uncertain I can barely think about it. But that doesn’t make the virus any less real. And until we all do our best to prevent the spread of this plague, it will be with us indefinitely. If we were to all follow the CDC guidelines, we could be back to normal in less than six months. With all the naysaying deniers such as yourself, we will never be back to normal. They're already saying that vaccines won't provide a return to normalcy. I feel horribly for people whose livelihoods have been destroyed by all this, yourself included. However, Texas and Florida are wide open for live music, at least at smaller venues. Maybe other states will follow their lead, maybe they won't. If densely populated states like Texas and Florida can fill baseball stadiums and music venues without having the virus run out of control, then there's really no excuse for other states not to open back up. But, one team of politicians can't possibly admit that the other team might be right about something. I never once denied the virus, but I'm extremely skeptical towards how it has been handled.

I could go on and on about the insanity that has been eaten up by the people, but I wouldn't be telling you anything you don't already know. I think that is a interesting idea, revamping some work that was already published, (published as a sequel of sorts?). As we get older, we never stop learning things as we get better at figuring out reality, (which we can if we "think" about it, defines us as human). Revamping your previous work will actually show the evolution of your mind. That is interesting and it can be very noble and powerful,---if the mind is going in a rational direction. We don't make up reality, (it kicks our butts when we try). It is what it is, so we can discover it. Wow. Leave it to Jim to find a "break through". I am actually a bit overwhelmed by the potential.

A 10 song album of revamped past published songs, (things you want to change), with the title of the album "Evolution of a mind. Vol.1" OK, 12 songs. Can't wait for the Conditions of My Parole, hopefully they do most of it in the country music format, as I'm a big fan of country music(the real kind) and everything MJK does.....would be nice if they reworked some of the newer songs too. As far as the interview, not very good. She was pretty awkward and no real conversation was had. Took a large portion to just re-hash a popular interview from way back. Seems like it was just trying to get people to go back and look for it to get more clicks. Edit: Didn't read the comments before posting, but have now and see a lot saying the same thing, almost exactly. Was kind of worried I was just being an asshole, but at least now, even if I am, I know I'm not alone. ASSHOLE PARTY!

Bad habit, searching for public opinion to see if yours is OK.

@@EarthSurferUSA is that what I said ? I read comments not to look for approval, but to just you know, read the comments, then saw similar comments........putting words in people's mouths or implying is a bad habit

her lack of ability to control the situation and maynards easy ability to deflect such attempts might have made her uneasy (?)

Existential Reckoning is definitely different, but not in a bad way at all it’s a great album.

My first listen to the album left me feeling meh, but after seeing them live and then going back to listen a year later its so amazing, peak music imo, peak in its own way though, cause they are very unique. The sound design, the way it sounds through good headphones, is pretty unmatched. And the concert felt like a psychedelic trip even though i was completely sober.
