imo that doesn't make much sense. you want that extra output volume rather at the bridge

BassTheWorld.com I didn't consider the outputs, but I did consider how they sound when it comes to the tone. I personally prefer a humbucker in the neck over a single coil and vice versa for the bridge I'll just lower the neck pickup all the way if I'll have issues with balance lol

Not really impressed given the price range. It's a novelty design for sure, but my Yami, IB's, and ESP/LTD'S in 5 and 6 string versions, and for a fraction of the cost deliver a maximum of bass sound, tone, range, and most important, playability. They hold their own against virtually any and all of the custom jobs. Spend all that extra dough on a professional amp rig, not on gimmicky axes. I also own Smith, Warrior, and Roscoe. But then, I have amassed more than a dozen basses for various reasons. Boutique basses are great, but like anything else, just might not be for everyone; but to each his own.👑🎸🎵

If you are shopping on a budget, you are not looking at a boutique bass. These are not hobbyist weekender basses, they are professional grade instruments. Mayones, Sadowsky, F Bass, Fodera, all have huge client lists because they play, intonate and sound great. Looks are mostly a bonus at this stage. I'd love to find a bass that has all of the sonic and build qualities of an F Bass BN5 or Mayones Comodous Classic for under 1000 €, but they don't exist.

You pay mostly for the brand's name, work hours for crafting and the type of exotic wood, always has been that way. Overall there is little to none profit in sound quality using the same preamp + pickups.

Sound quality is only one part of the equation. Plus the budget brands mass produced in Asia aren't always putting the high end pups, preamps, building neck thru designs or using high end hardware.
