One of the most disturbing conversations ive ever had was a Corrections guy, with absolute joy, telling me how he loved telling the injured inmates they could only have aspirine. The glee in his eyes when he explained how they begged, it was pure psycopathy. Feeling joy at human suffering.

I'm a truck driver, when doing over the road I was surprised about dry counties and the no booze on Sunday places. I wasn't buying booze but just noticed the signs at the stores.

Back in the late 1980s there was a prison guard who was also a deacon of a church and a happy family man with a long time wife and a bunch of kids.... He was a prison guard at the women's Coldwater facility in Michigan.... He had worked there for several years and there seemed to be a large amount of women becoming pregnant in the facility who had been incarcerated for a number of years.... Guess who baby's Daddy was? Finally, an investigation was launched and paternity tests were being performed when good respectable Deacon guard decided to end himself.... It would be really cool if you dug into the past and did an episode on this. Once he was gone it never made the papers again...

From what I'm hearing, this mayor was manipulated by the inmates. He thought leaving a bottle of liquor wasn't a big deal, but he was caught and if convicted losing his job may be the least of his problems. As for the prison guard who thought he was bringing weed to the inmates, but was actually bringing in heroin, he was obviously manipulated by the inmates. If a prison employee isn't careful, they could easily lose their job, not to mention being charged with a crime. As far as the woman executive goes, she disappeared rather than staying around and risking getting arrested, charged with a crime, and possibly convicted. In this case she was the manipulator. There was a case several years ago of three inmates attempting to escape their prison, and a woman guard was caught assisting them. What was in it for her? It seems she had fallen in love with one of the inmates and was easily manipulated. BTW, thanks Larry Lawton. I'm finding these videos both interesting and informative.

I live in thomson. He’s still the mayor. They said he did it off the clock so it don’t affect his job status. Ain’t nothing gonna happen to him. He will get off bc it’s a small town. Nobody even talks about it. He was just trying to be a cool guy for the work detail for the 4th of July. The old man who drives the prisoners around allows people to drop off food and cigarettes to them as long as they hand them to him first. Hes been doing it for years. Also, it wasn’t for a lover. 🤣🤣🤣 nice click bait

I honestly don’t see a problem with this. Sam would say he’s being a nice guy. Some may consider him a hero. Most likely the inmates. L O L it’s up to the prison guard to make sure the work detail doesn’t come across guns and alcohol.

I just can’t get it. Some of those inmates can make some good toilet wine. Much stronger than outside. I always liked the challenge these guys had creating some wine and selling it. Recently had some inmates get drunk on hand sanitizer.
