I drove through Philadelphia once, and there were broken down cars everywhere. Literally cars on the highways that had no wheels, couches and furniture on the road, trash everywhere. It looked like everyone just dumps the trash out their windows as if that's the normal thing to do. I was disgusted. But I had a really good philly cheesesteak 😊

I'm just amazed at how much sensationalism has been created over my lifetime pertaining to the media. I'm 71 yrs old, and have lived in various states due to my career as a pilot. And a few places outside of the US. The summer is usually hot, the winter is usually cold, the more unsettled weather happens in spring and fall. Each geographical are has certain patterns obviously. Like a desert 🏜️ Like mountains 🏔️ Like forests 🌲🌴 And you know what else I've noticed ? People that are prepared, and people that aren't. If you live in "tornado alley", then you should have a basement or underground shelter. If you live in the colder area with mountains, a wood burning fireplace. Common sense stuff. I'm thinking Springfield, Morton, U&L Merion, Tredyffrin. I'm actually surprised that school buses aren't used as plows, especially Upper Darby since they have so many buses that I see driving all over Southeastern PA (why are UD buses driving around Chesco and Montco anyway?)

My street is a hot mess never plowed Bustleton. I had a recycling bin thrown at my car while i was sitting in it and asked the trash dude what the heck! He wanted me to bring my husband outside and fight him!! Really trash city workers they leave trash all over our street on top of disrespecting our cars!! Sounds like you should talk to your Council person and make sure they properly classify your street because in the NW, SW, & Center City plows and salt trucks are coming through once an hour. Primary, secondary and tertiary streets in those areas are being continuously plowed. I'm witnessing it live.
