I was just down in the Iron Bound section of Newark on Thursday the Putguese section were they are flourishing. North Newark the Hispanic community is flourishing. Then my family lives in Black community where it looks abandoned even Downtown Newark look like shit. Only the Black neighborhood is getting gentified!!!!

Are you from Newark? Shit hasn't changed at all in fact more homeless and more closed down businesses than ever! Have you seen how horrible downtown Newark is? And I was born and raised in this city. Thank God my family owns their home because housing is all fucked up from what I see my friends going through. To me it seems like they are trying to kick out all black and Hispanic out to bring in all those people from NYC to thus raise more rent and inflation within inner cities.

I wish I could believe this this when a 2 bedroom goes for 1500+ now in the hood! I was born and raised and all my jobs been in NYC and I had to start buying in Texas real estate because the taxes in NJ in general makes no damn sense. At 34 how the he'll can I progress with everything is expensive and investing in my city makes no damn sense 🤦🏾‍♂️ Just so I could evict someone it's a 6 month process in Texas 2-3 weeks and you're out! Another thing I noticed my father started a business in upholstery, and me and my brother took over, year over year people of newark are showing up less and less now my clients are more NYC or people with actual disposable income.
