Former Democratic U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii visited the Rio Grande Valley on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022 to campaign for U.S. Rep. Mayra Flores, a Republican running for re-election in Texas Congressional District 34. In the evening they held a rally in Brownsville. Earlier in the day they held a rally at the Junction Cafe in Pharr. This video shows reporters interviewing them outside the Junction Cafe.

She would certainly be an interesting choice because some of her politics (pro free speech/pro 2A/no wars or regime change/seal up the border etc are all a good fit) but she is still very left socialist in many issues so she might not be a perfect choice. If left voters might consider to vote Trump if she were on the ticket it would be a good political compromise for Trump to put her on the ticket, but I'm not sure making her VP is going to bring in too many more additional votes for Trump.

@@xijinbling2373 if that were the case she'd be leading the Democrats right now. When she first came onto the scene she was the Democrat belle of the ball. They had huge plans for her. That's why she was made vice-chair of the DNC. And then she was looking at things from the inside and saw how rotten it was, and how the DNC that was controlled by the Clintons was shutting the democratic process out of their own party and would let them freely elect who they wanted nor support the policies they chose. And then when she decided to back Bernie Sanders - largely a protest vote against Hillary Clinton - the Clinton machine went hard at her. And then she stepped down as DNC chair. And when Bernie Sanders was run out of the 2016 race despite leading after the first 3 states in the primary (and also was bought out) that's when she decided to run for the presidential nomination in 2020 - largely to go after the Clintons. You're not paying attention bro. If she were doing this for money she wouldn't have taken positions to get run out of her own party that they intended big plans for.
