Maytronics Dolphin Robot Repair. Trouble shooting pool cleaner, check cord, motors, circuit board

Bought this in Oct Best purchase I made for our pool. Big oak tree that provides great shade in the summer also provides millions of leaves in fall and winter. I let the dolphin do the work and it picks up every leave. Pool stays sparkling clean.

I have a nautilus cc that does not power on @ all anymore...i plug it in and nothing happens? can this power supply be fixed?

Hi Mark, our Dolphn Dx3 will move a tiny bit and then stops. From what I see the fan isn't moving. Does that sound like the cord or does it sound like the motor is toast? Thanks in advance

My dolphin dx5 is doing the same. Turns on, runs for anywhere from 2-10 minutes and stops. Am I understanding that I'll need to replace the vacuum? I'm in the USA

I have a pro kleen 100, it runs fine for 4 minutes and shuts off but the power supply still shows power. If I pull cable out of the power supply and insert it right back the unit comes back on. What part should I try replacing

alvin jarreau Unfortunately that is a common fault trait of the motor block. If that is the case then the unit needs replacement. I have the great Raptor Robotic units on a special at the moment. They are $1500 including delivery within Australia. Nillumbik Pool & Spa Service

If the drive motor stop after move like few inch and stop (manually move the brushes. What could be the problem? Already changed cable.

Sadly that sounds like the motor block has failed. That isn’t economical to repair so we normally replace the unit. If you are in Australia or NZ then give me a call at Nillumbik Pool & Spa Service and I will match a good quality unit to match your pool.

I just bought a new motor, but it doesn't work when I plug it in? Why is that?Should I put all the parts together and turn them upside down ?

My unit suddenly stopped working. It works absolutely fine out of the pool but once it's in the water it doesn't turn on at all. I'm not sure if it's the cable or not but this is the case with the cable out of the water and the unit submerged in the water on the first step in the pool.

My dolphin powers up good runs about one minute and then shuts down I can turn it on again and it keeps shutting down cleaned it out but keeps shutting down all light go off any suggestions

I took the case off my Dolphin Premier motor and there is quite a bit of water and the moisture pack is soaked. I guess it's safe to say the motor is ruined?

HI Mark, I have 27 Volts DC at the circuit board supply, but nothing at the outputs to all 3 motors, on my Dolphin cleaner. I suspect the board has failed, although I can't see any physical damage. Do you know where I could purchase a replacement board. P/N 2410074LF? Thanks Richard

I am chasing availability for you. Although PCB’s are usually expensive and because Robots are predominantly plastic they do not last forever. You may want to consider replacement. What country are you in?

If the cleaner is brand new then get the supplier back. It could be a stiff bearing or loose stretched track but it shouldn’t be coming off at all

That sounds like it could be the power Pak or the cord. Are you in Australia?

Marcelo Poli Sadly that could be the motor block. If it is it is normally better to replace the unit. Depending of course on the age of the unit and warranty. MRT

Great video! How long do you press the start button to make the test at the end? My machine starts running 5sec, stops, goes back 2sec and then stops completely. I'm desperate :_(
