You have said that Mayurasan should be practiced empty stomach does it imply that one must not practice this asana in the evening? If someone doesn't get time to practice in the morning how he/she could manage to practice it in the evening? If one practice it in the evening then what should be ideal gap between food and this asana or it is advisable not to do this asana in the evening?

Namaste, Hatha yoga pradipika has many authors but the one I would suggest and it can be easily understood is book published by Bihar School of yoga, its a great book, and give lot of information about the ancient practices. Thank you

most people wouldnt able to decipher the veiled meanings in all ancient writings. it's too shallow to assume mayurasana, refers to destruction of toxin or bad stuff we consume. it's so precise that the mentioning of kalakuta/hala2 are only in both mayurasana & the samudra manthan. so they are linked. so it is the "activity of samudra manthan" that produces/releases the toxin in our body and that the only way to counter that is mayurasana. now what this activity is, i couldnt reveal exactly but people can already guess it. the end product to be seek is the amrita. briefly, every myth in vedas and also bible, is referencing the physiology, our body is the temple of God/holy spirit. the elixir of life, the philosopher's stone, the gnostic alchemy, is all of transforming our body like in tibetan, to a diamond/vajra/rainbow body.

Good explanation. Do we need to hold breath at any point?.or breath normally. Not clear

Breathe normally, but keep the core ie. the abdomen engaged all the time. we do not need a relax abdomen, we always need the IAP i.e intra abdominal pressure.. it engages the TVA ie. the transvers abdomens

What about breath .we should keep the breath out when we are in the pose and inhale firmly while releasing the pose .In between don't breath .give our breath right before getting on the pose ...
