Blue Green Algae problems in your Planted Aquarium? - Simple Solutions [2019]

In this video, we will see how to control Blue Green Algae shortly known as BGA in your Planted Aquarium. No planted aquarium in the world is without any algae. BGA is also is known as Blue Green Algae. You can only control Blue Green Algae in your tank, none of the algae can be completely cleared out from your aquarium.
Algae is very important in your aquarium just like your lights, co2, and filter.
Blue Green Algae or BGA appears in your planted tank due to a lack of water circulation in your tank, mostly due to inefficient filtration. Blue Green algae can also occur if there is fluctuation in co2 or fertilizer dosage.
Blue Green Algae in the soil most common type. BGA occurs and slowly starts growing around your plants in the soil and does not let your plants grow. Blue green algae are similar to the aquatic plants itself they take the co2 and photosynthesis and grow just like plants.
But what if the blue green algae or BGA is already present in your planted tank, in most cases, its very hard to remove BGA with the hand or even with the brush.
Blue Green Algae hold on to soil and plants very tightly. It's not that easy to get rid of blue green algae.
One simple method to weaken the Blue Green Algae is adding ADA Bacter 100 on the Algae. By doing so this will slowly clear out the cyanobacteria.
Another exclusive way to control Blue Green Algae is to use ADA Phyton Git sol Its a harmless enzyme that increases the immunity of your Planted tank. Just take a little phyton git sol in a filler and add it on the Blue green algae. This is a completely safe method as it is organic and does not affect your ecosystem in the planted tank in anyway.
Blue Green algae or BGA indicates a lack of water circulation in your Planted Aquarium.
Never ever use hydrogen peroxide to clear out your blue Green Algae it will affect your ecosystem entirely.
Normal planted tank maintenance like weekly water changes, 6-8 hours of good lighting, a good dosage of fertilizers, running your filter continuously and trimming should keep your aquarium healthy.

Dear Mayur ji, I dry started a tank recently. It appears I didn't keep enough air circulation going, kept the soil too wet, and after 5 weeks I spotted some white and green mold. I immediately flooded the tank with water from another tank and dosed some iron, potassium and phosphate. Within 24 hours, I have a ton of cyanobacteria. Please advise how I can resolve this. Should I transfer tye healthy plants to my mature tank while fixing the new tank? Many thanks.

There could be a whole list of issues low bacteria, co2 excess fertilisers my suggestion is you do a 50% water change daily for the next one week< add bacteria correct your fertiliser dose and Co2

6-8mm glass is best for the size you want, please make sure you check the silicon they use to make the tank, it should be written on the bottle that it can be used for aquarium use
