Kurotsuchi was both vanguard & cavalry in this war. Sure he's a psychopath and a monster himself, but that's the point. He was recruited into the Gotei 13 for the same reason as Kenpachi, precisely because they're monsters (in Kurotsuchi's case a monster genius). It takes monsters to beat bigger monsters, it's a strategic imperative.

This fight is great, the best Mayuri fight no contest. I just don't like when people bring up this fight and try to use it as an argument of Mayuri being Schutzstaffel tier of power despite the fact that he got his ass saved by Nemu. He was gonna 100% lose if no one intervened. And no, Nemu in this fight doesn't count as part of Mayuri's arsenal when he clearly never had the intention of making her fight Pernida. Well overall in the anime now we know that Squad 0 let themselves get defeated so now it's kind of more realistic that the captains could all gang uo on the Schutzstaffel and manage to get some wins.

@@xavierstewart5756 it is kind of an asspull tho ngl but that's just Mayuri's fights in a nutshell, specially cus we learn the condition of Nemu's brain cells right in the moment. Of course some people wouldn't like such important explanation to be showcased just when Nemu was killed and Mayuri was about to lose lmao. But overall I think it's more of a problem of pacing. Something that TYBW suffers a lot. Maybe in a better life Kubo could have had better health and patience to build up such explanation better.

Love that but in my opinion, if we can have new name I would like Vincent, or weillin animated this cuz these fight will have lots of weird vfx, Hiroyuki Yamashita is known for close combat hand on hand battle animation this fight have lots of mayuri toys wird stuff so and pernida alien anatomy, I forgot the show name which studio bones produce there's a guy who got he's arm cut of and he just regenerate 😅 that kind of animation I think it's suit for these epsd Idk who's animating that, but I guess pieroot have limited budged for bleach let just hope for the best

@@animeweeb29 wellin zhang the one who animated the last attack from Yamamoto who slash yuha, saucelot the one work on the fight in the fire jumping in the ceiling, yamashita work on bankai the tip of the sword fight, u think animator can make a cut for 24 min straight, one epsd alone there's so many more animator that I didn't mention who work in that epsd it just the main one who I mention they got pay from the cut and it could be 10 second to mins rarely 4 mins, some animator have they're own specialty and style like Yutaka Nakamura who love to do slow motion while the characters fight and flex on he's impac frames, u clearly misunderstand how animator working

Out of all bleach characters, I relates myself the most with Mayuri from his will of radical optimism and analytical observance principles. Most of his peers are always trying to ridicule and discrediting him whenever he invented/advanced with something for Seretei's greter good, itsborderline disrespectful to Mayuri. Others labeled him as sadistic and apathetic by his actions. And I'm annoyed by the people that keep comparing him with Uruhara which keep being praised and celebrated while he's the most cunning and sinister one. Because just by a popularity contest amongst the fans, Uruhara is treated as a Saint and Mayuri just as the underling.

I guess that battle really did mess Mayuri up. According to CFYOW, he was on life support for a while. So it stands to reason that he really WAS out of options and also fell into a despair losing Nemu. It was only after he snapped out of it and saw Pernida devouring Nemu that he snapped up her brain (which it likely picked up from being in contact with Mayuri’s Bankai). He didn’t plan that, it was a last second realization. Then he slips in unconsciousness (or maybe even a coma, given the life support ) It was a good segment of character growth, especially for Mayuri.

The fight Mayuri Kurotsuchi didn't have any counter measures against. Pernida not only can control the nerves, he can evolve infinitely and adapt to his opponents. Even Nemu's sacrifice wasn't enough to defeat him until he ate her and that mistake cost him his life. Mayuri at the last minute spares Nemu's brain and Pernida couldn't adapt to Nemu's fast dividing cells hence he exploded and died. Had Pernida ate her brain first then ate the rest of her then it wouldn't be a problem. I don't know if it's an arse pull or Mayuri had a trump card hidden within Nemu. Either way, Mayuri Kurotsuchi didn't had his own way against Pernida.

Askin is likely a older member of the Wandenreich alongside Robert and Quilge. Because it's clear they know information that all the other sternritter don't. Like Yhwach true intentions with the quincy and who exactly Uryu is. So they know about quincy history while the rest just blindly follow Yhwach.

All of those captains (including Uruhara) shouldn't wins against the schutzstaffel. Heck, even Ichigo & Aizen not supposed be able to defeats Yhwach. They'd wins just because for the sake of the plot amor, it must be what Kobo had done to finished the story arc nonetheless. If not it's going to be the endless 'tag you're it' kind of battles which is almost came into during the battle with Gerald and had been done by Kubo during kenpachi vs nnoitra.

yeaaah, nemu is also kinda a twin sister to mayuri's bankai since they share same dna and also nemu is technically mayuri's clone to himself because her the dna is from mayuri himself.. So technically Nemu is Mayuri's Daughter(since he raised her), Mayuri's twin(Made out of Mayuri's own dna) and Mayuri's Baby bankai twin sister(they also shared same dna). 😂
