Damo's a legend the first time met him was at the services before going onto the the shuttle to France . Him and his kiwi mate Toby turned up in series 1 RX7 that was hardcore tuned ticking over lumpy as hell. I thought they were trailering it to the ring. I couldnt believe it when they said they were driving it down .10 hours later we arrived. They had Gerry cans in the back because the fuel cell was very small. One went over in the back all over their clothes . Damo and Toby got out at the feren park high as a kite. What a trip. Great guy.

I think I came to the right spot.. I love the story of the 1300 build .. I'm just finishing off my 1972 Datsun 2 door 510 Blue /White 2 tone with a street ported ..s4 13B Turbo 6 speed std... then next to finish I have a white 1970 mazda 1200 2 door sedan..she's only got 58,000 Kms on the little car..it will be getting a Bridge Ported FD 13b Turbo...with a s6 5 speed .when my cars are finished... both be for sale .. I'll post the Videos and I'm willing to sell and ship them to New zealand or Australia..if you want one..good luck guys see you soon thanks for sharing the video..

@@GrassRootsGarage Really? Koval- Manual. Savanna - Manual. This is only 500hp, Koval is 1300hp+ and still manual. Ran H pattern for years chopping auto’s. It’s personal choice though so as long as the owner is happy.
