Hi, how much roughly would cost to change the oil strainer on mazda 6? Just wondering as im about to find garage to do, but it would be helpful some info before agree on 1000s of pounds job. Thanks in advance

I would say with parts and labour included around £600 in the UK.

Did you have to undo a tensioner or is the oil pump chain seperate to timing chain ?

I didn't have to undo it, but if you are not familiar with the timing of this engine rather don't attempt this job on your own.

Hello mate can you list the part numbers for the exhaust camshafts and rocker arms, vaccumm pump etc as I think they are part of a revised package which are cheaper from the mazda dealer. Can you confirm? Thanks

@@MrNiceGuy94 how much do they charge for the kit? I just bought the camshaft with 4 rocker arms from mazda for £243. Part number SHY210YA0.

May I ask from which Mazda? As if I am not wrong the camshaft only costs around £400 from Mazda from my city. Rocker arms £200 something for a piece, which is mind blowing...
