My father bought one of those Mazda 323's when they came out, he liked that car, and did a good amount of travel on it. Holiday time we had the windscreen cracked by a rock tossed up by a truck near Rustenberg, and drove around for a week, going to relatives in what was later Bophuthatswana, without a windscreen, while the PG Glass there got a new windscreen in for us. We were finding little diamonds forever after in there when cleaning it, or they popped out of the vent, or from under the seat.

It was a hard find, but I eventually sourced it from Victoria Motor Spares in Victoria Road Grassy Park Cape Town, Christopher.
