Mazda 5 Oil Change

Bosch Oil Filter: # 3330
Motor Oil # Castrol Synthetic 0w-20
Oil change for the 2013 Mazda 5, people do it different ways. This is my way of doing a basic oil change. Please seek professional help if you need work done on your vehicle, this is just footage of me working on my own vehicle. Informative video. I was just a little confused by how you used your torque wrench. you torqued it to the specified measurement but after that, you took your normal wrench and went at it again. what was the point of the torque wrench if you're going to overdo it anyway? :P

so, I really like the 5 in black. Maybe it's just me but the colorful variants just don't quite look proper. In white though... I might consider redoing mine.

Do you know the part number to the magnetic screw? I’ve bought a few on amazon and they don’t fit even tho I go by the OEM fitment

Hi Orlando! The drain bolt I used is no longer for sale I got it on eBay awhile back but what you’ll need is a M14 1.50” thread depth. Any magnetic drain bolt with those specs should work and don’t forget about the crush washers after you change your oil.

I have bought 2012 mazda 5 with 2.5L engine and manual says 5L with filter replacement. Why is it different than yours ?

Google says it's 5.3 quarts

On the filter you don't have to put oil inside of it just put it in the way you said it

Fill the filter with oil atleast 80-90% before putting in..
