Mazda Bongo Rear Springs - Changing them on my driveway

My rear springs are due to be changed, always willing to save a few bucks I decided to do them myself on the drive as this is a simple job you can do with simple tools.

Bit of oil on the spring clamps threads makes them easier to turn and last longer. I always use a bit of 4x2 on the trolley jack to stop it damaging the car and less likely to slip and do damage. I'm envious of my friends trolley jack as mine is a cheapy one and feels dodgy compared to his. Always the same with suspension work, you never know what you need til you take it apart.

Yeah good shout, I had forgotten to oil them up. I'm the same with Jack's, my mate has a low profile high lift. I'm sure I'll get around to replacing the rubbers in the next few..... years 😆

should of clean the spring mounts and sealed them whilst the springs were off
