Thxs for a good easy to watch video. I`ve done plenty of oil changes in the past on other vehicle's but the first one on my 2008 BT 50, just wanted to check for any surprises and double checking amount of oil to use. All my questions are cleared up:)...thxs again mate cheers.

Watch that rubber gasket on top the oil filter! I did an oil & filter change, didn't notice the old gasket stuck to my engine instead of coming off with the old filter, I spun on the new filter, added oil, as soon as I started my truck, oil spraying everywhere. I had to pour cat litter & sand around to soak it up, lucky that I didn't wreck our driveway ( or truck) - I could hear oil squirting strongly

I normal pour a couple of gallons of diesel down through filler and catch it in waist oil can or enough till it runs clean let it drip for an hour then change oil filter and it stays clear for a month

Is there a cabin/pollen filter on the BT 50 I can't seem to find any hatch to open any filter compartment mine is a BT-50 boss singal cab

J'ai le même problème j'ai cherché le filtre de cabine mais dommage j'ai pas réussi à le trouver en m'a dit qu'il n'y avait pas dans ce modèle

Bro.. sy nak tanya tentang masalah engine crank won't start.. kereta model mazda bt50 2.5 turbo.. so kalau masalah macam tu apa patut sy buat.. kereta bru habis overhor juga.. so minta tunjuk ajer dr pehak tuan boleh..

Just changed oil and filter in 2009 bt50 didn't know about the 10min time limit Do I have to do anything prior to starting

Ken Oath the only thing you can do is start the engine and see if it builds up oil pressure within 5-10 seconds

@@MotortechVehiclerepairs great and detailed video,i will try it to mine ( bt50 2.5 turbo diesel) ,i read in cars paper that the capacity is 7/0,2 oil filter ( i am not sure if it means 7 or 7,2 liters total). Also can you help me with what kind o filter should i buy? Can i change it with my bare hands ( without tool)? Thanks a lot
