Thanks for the tutorial! have the same issue and if I'm going to take apart the dash might as well upgrade. What year is the car in the video? did you have to update the cars software?

It’s a 2017 and no software update needed! Since doing this we still haven’t had any issues with ghost touch or the CarPlay unit. Highly recommend!
