I agree on the transmission noises and other details that could be improved. However the 6 year guarantee , saving € 25.000 against Audi or BMW and perhaps better reliability might convince some to go for it. I drove mine for 4 month now, I feel very safe on any road and love the torque. I charge at home every night and the 55 to 60 km in cost me 25% of otherwise would cost me the gas, Without charging 7,5 km per 100 km is very good considering the size.

Why do you think it has better reliability considering Mazda hasn’t passed them in any reliability rankings.
@rudy76317 ай бұрын
You are right, there are no rankings for this model. However Mazda, Toyota and Honda seem to have a vehicle improvement strategy while for example I perceive an older WV a better choice than a new one. That is the reason sold my previous car.

Just re watched your review after watching lots and lots of others.. driving it myself and ordering one due to the great price and equipment. nice ride and quiet cabin... lol.. what were you driving? Different to me I think! Just ordered the Homura PHEV Convenience and Driver assistance Packs.. seems a perfect Company car (TAX) . Last car was an AMG Merc C class.. the Mazda is nicer built, quieter, rides better.. LOL Handling is ..er not the same, but very good balance for an SUV. It is a very good compromise for the vehicle it is. Your view is either very unbalanced or you had a very poor pre production car..I cant decide.

Glad you made this comment about the cabin being quiet. This review concerned me because I have one on order without driving or seeing in the flesh. Getting the 3.3 petrol turbo so I don't even have a reviews of the whole car.

sad that mazda has to cut corners on stuff to keep the price down but thats what theyre targeting. a luxury brand without the price tag

Mazda asked HMRC to review the electric range and they agreed to round it up to 40 miles taking the car to 8%.

Mazda has never nailed road noise. No matter which model, it’s always a noisy brand. I’m not sure they have developed the internal technologies to suppress road noise.

That was a very weak review. Hardly any details. Just personal opinion. What was the MPG? Was the HUD any good. Any interesting features...The light cabin is only on the Takumi model that is thousands £ more. You were in the "base" Exclusive-Line. Was the sound system any good? Were the driving aids any good. Did the sat nav project onto the "Standard" HUD OK... lol.. on and on. Please don't mention company car drivers without looking at what they need. CX-60 in the model you were in starts £42,745, BMW X5 is from £66,230 and Audi Q5 is from £46,725. Please don't compare the Mazda to the "premium German rivals" as the price difference is significant, especially the "Sporty and comfortable" BMW.
