Y'all ever run into an issue where a programmed fob isn't detected but the battery is good? I can lock/unlock from both fobs but have to hold it up to the button to start the car.

usually that means that the battery is low, mine does that but only when the battery is low and sometimes it doe’s randomly but once i start the car the way you said, it goes away the next time i have to turn it on

Supposedly you can program fob using elm module and forscan I’ve never tested it but can confirm I see the option under forscan when I was doing other stuff

The real question is how can I stop it as a anti theft method against this. In my area there are many criminal doing exactly this, they have all the gears + anti GPS tracking.

you can get them on line for much cheaper, but then you have to get them programed and the metal cut
