Mazda News Update | September 2024 Mazda Sales

I live in the Silicon Valley/San Francisco Bay Area. Last week, I drove my Mazda to Lake Tahoe and then to Yosemite National Park with some visiting family members. I was surprised to see so many Mazda vehicles on the roads around Tahoe and in Yosemite National Park. I even saw several of them parked at Ranger stations -- likely meaning that some of the NPS park rangers are driving Mazda vehicles! I noticed quite a few CX-30 and CX-50 vehicles. However, I also saw a couple of CX-5 and CX-70 vehicles too. This makes sense given the very underrated AWD system on Mazda vehicles and how beneficial they can be on dirt or icy roads and in high elevation areas. I'm glad that word is getting around that Mazda makes fantastic vehicles that are not only beautiful and fun-to-drive, but they are also practical in many different driving conditions!

Hello from Ontario. Just bought my first 2025 Mazda 3 weeks ago from Kitchener Ontario. Just clicked over 1000 km today. It’s a CX5 GS. I traded in a God awful 2015 Elantra, it was a happy day 😂🎉

Would love and slightly redesigned CX-70. ONE that's its OWN car (push back the second row wee bit...rid the interior of the third row remnants. Since that may take some time... maybe Mazda can slide the rear seat back a wee bit more in the CX-FIVE. Otherwise... Thrive as you ZoomZoom, Loves.

I have a 6 and won’t give it up until a new 6 or RX is introduced. I see the EZ6 in China, a good looker but electric. Watching the RX development in Japan and hopefully we will see it in North America.

CX-50 is made in Huntsville, Alabama. CX-5 is made in Japan. Which one is better is personal preference; CX-50 is rugged and good for the outdoorsy types. CX-5 is good for urban/suburban driving; feels like a sedan. Both are great choices, depending on needs.

Probably a matter of preference. I test drove a CX-50 premium plus and like it and I test drove a CX-5 turbo premium and like it. I'm not going off road so I chose a 2024 CX-5 turbo premium in machine gray metallic. I think the CX-50 is a little wider but slightly shorter but has a little more room in the back for cargo. We are located in central Florida so seasonal weather isn't a factor as we have two seasons in Florida hot and less hot. We traded in a 2022 CX-9 carbon edition in poly metal gray with red leather interior. The CX-9 did drive smoother than the CX-5 but I think its because the CX-5 has a shorter wheel base, it's like 18 inches shorter than the CX-9.

Mazda has reliable cars and people buy Mazda for that reason. Cx90 is way to complicated and repairs will be ridiculous...that is the downfall of Audi repairs ruin the amazing car after the first 3 years because now the repair bills start...

Cx70 is not seeking well, 1,472 in September divided by 48 states, is around 28 per state, that's nothing

I don’t expect it to sell as much as the CX-90, but the inventory has also been down some.

@JSS the mazda dealer close to my home has the same 27 Cx70 for the last 3 months, I love mazda but I really think mazda made a mistake with the 70 using the exact same cx90 body
