Words could not describe the excitement and sales figures that would have eventuated if MAZDA was allowed to manufacture the rx8 with the 20b,there would have been a lot of smiling faces around the world, NO OTHER ENGINE SOUNDS LIKE THE ROTORY WHEN ITS ALLOWED TO RUN LIKE THIS.. totally sublime !!

In the 2013 Grand Am Sports car series, these rotaries where the loudest engines on the track. They were even louder than 600hp V8 from the Daytona Prototypes.

So the quad rotor ran with two overheating rotors for 24 hrs and beat the best the world had to offer , hehe , it is a shame that the engine concept and the inherint problems cant be overcome, cause it would make it the BEST ENGINE EVER BUILT !!!

The middle rotor generates too much heat and warps the endplates amongst other major problems with that middle rotor, there’s a reason Mazda scrapped that idea. They get enough warranty rebuilds with the renisis as is ahaha.

Yeah this is the same car. The reason the engine is in the back is because it's a Renault Megane chassis (like Franklyn Boodram's own)
