Hi and thanks for the message. Sadly the only tanks being produced are for later FBs with smaller spare wheel well so they don't fit mine. You're right, there seems to be a huge market in the US and Australia - I'm sure i'll be buying some smally parts from there! Thanks so much for watching.

Series 2 (FB) this is. Series 1 (SA22) has steel bumpers and diff rear lights. Series 3 is 5 stud wheels disc brakes.

Series 3 is 4 stud 114.3 x 4 instead of 100 x 4 on s1 & s2

It's amazing to me how people are willing to have two or three projects going all the time. I can barely manage one. Love the new dogs though... jealous of that setup. Any follow up planned on the MGB. I know it's been a long time since those videos were made....

Hi. Thanks for watching and the recommendation. Sadly the only fuel tanks available are for '84 cars onward with a shallower spare wheel well and therefore different shaped tank.

You can do a spare wheel well mod. I flat floored mine to put the 85lt in. Bolts up perfect into the factory holes

Examine the upper right front side are of the engine (as you face the engine). If you see obvious signs of oil leakage that is not a good sign.

Have you lifted the rear seat yet..... i would check the side of the wheel wells as the mounting points can rot, also bottom of the doors. Had a dozen FB's but unfortunately sold all my spares although yours looks mostly there. Good to see another one saved must only be 20/30 on the roads today if that
