Mazda Speed 3 EGR Delete.

Finally got around to installing the erg delete on the speed 3. Its pretty easy once you get all the stuff out of the way. Plus I was in the middle of doing my manifold swap too.

Pros and cons of egr delete on the speed?

Pro: Cleaner burn for the engine. You won't have all the pre brunt exhaust gasses cycling back thru the system. Cons: Check engine light is always on for the egr code. It also won't pass emission in certain states.

Once the EGR control module has been removed do you put a plug in the end of the electrical connector going to EGR to complete the circuit? Some videos I've seen the check engine comes on because the ECU is saying there's a problem , or do you just re flash the ECU sort of thing

@@jimmy.t5850 I didn’t but that might be a good way to trick the ecu to not thro a egr code. I just left mine open. I plan to later have a tuner fully delete it.
