@@christospapazacharias8523 it’s the little braided cooper wire, the crimp connector on mine was super loose.

Hi, my steering wheel seems squeaking every now and again in a facelift w212, I sprayed wd40 inside without removing actual steering wheel and it stopped for a few days. Now annoying sound is sometimes back - have you come across something like that before? Btw - great video quality, straight to the point. Many thanks!

Nice video. Just prepare to explain to the next car buyer why you have holes on the steering wheel - will think that you had an accident with a blown air bag.

That’s the downside doing this, the holes has to be made, but don’t think many buyers would even look behind the steering wheel, and in my case I got video proof why I removed it ; )

Ya wonder what the dealership does when they have to remove the wheel for stuff. I'm replacing my buttons tomorrow and am going to slit the spots with an axacto knife real carefully so it doesn't look all crappy.

No as long you disconnect battery before. If not disconnect battery you need to reset with fault reader. In any case no worries and as long you have and obd reader if you don’t remove battery connection

I pressed both sides and the right side won’t come out it’s still stuck and I’m still hitting the spot but it won’t pit the right side

These only sells with the whole trim part. Airbag symbol or whatever you want but is not sold as separate. Ooor yess it is but then is aftermarket china parts you need to buy.
