That’s funny because my industry collapsed due to a combo of economic reasons plus regulators- and I want little to do with it anymore due to reputational / legal / regulator risks - crypto industry.

Not sure if you would be able to help, but if post mba I’m in my early 30s, would it be possible to break into management consulting despite not having consulting background pre mba? Does consulting firms have an age limit?

100% possible! Don't worry! 😉

@@adrianbruno-mba What about investment banking? My background is a big 4 chartered accountant with audit and corporate finance transaction services experience, looking to break into IB with an MBA, but would I be too late tho to break into IB if im graduating around 33 with an MBA and a CA background? given that most analyst and associates are mid to late 20s? Thanks mate! Do they have an age barrier?

@@options888 Trust me, you are not too old. You might be too old for some banks, but most of them don't really look at your age. Consulting firms don't care much about age at all from what I have seen. I heard stories of post-MBA Associates at IBs, who are in their late 30s 🤫

Hi Adrian, how do you know if a school places well internationally vs locally? Is that through employment reports or some other statbook (i.e. anecdotally through conversation may not give the complete picture)?

Hi Simon. Try the following three in that order: 1. Definitely check employment reports ! Also read the ones from past years to see the career development stats. 2. Check on LinkedIn! See where people come from at the companies you would like to work for. 3. Talk to alumni! They can normally give you a good picture Hope that helps!
