Please help with these doubts: @ 4:10- I chose D because I though sentence is trying to say that the winds - that came after the storm - damaged the trees. Option C means- The winds damaged the trees, the damage was done after the storm. How to differentiate between these 2? @9:30- 'the two' in neither of the two redundant because with neither the comparison/ grouping is of 2 persons only. So shouldn't answer be 1 and 2 only?
@mbakaroКүн бұрын
1. "The strong winds after the storm damaged the trees," is incorrect because it creates a misplaced modifier. The phrase "after the storm" seems to modify "the strong winds," implying that the winds themselves occurred after the storm, which is not the intended meaning. 2. The phrase "Neither of the two boys" is grammatically correct.

15:47 beautifully is qualifying the shot which was not verb but a noun so how all the could be adverbs that beautifully should be adjective and other two can be adverb as they are qualifying adjectives of noun can you please elaborate
@mbakaro16 сағат бұрын
You've raised a great point about the role of "beautifully" in the sentence. While "extremely" and "quite" clearly modify the adjectives "talented" and "effortlessly," respectively, "beautifully" seems to be modifying the noun "shot." However, in this context, "beautifully" is actually functioning as an adverb. It's describing how the shot was played. Even though it's modifying a noun, it's doing so by describing the 'action of playing the shot', which is a verb.

15:48 - i feel all the words are adjectives and not adverbs- because there is no action that is taking place here - they are describing an action which we look at as a noun.

1. extremely - Adverb, modifying the adjective talented (to what extent the batsman is talented). 2. beautifully - Adverb, modifying the verb played (describing how the shot was played). 3. quite - Adverb, modifying the adverb effortlessly (to what extent the shot was played effortlessly).

@mbakaro12 сағат бұрын
It should be 'Immune System'. Cybersecurity protects computer systems from threats like viruses, malware, and hacking attempts. The immune system protects the human body from threats like bacteria, viruses, and other harmful invaders.

@mbakaroКүн бұрын
It actually means to move quickly towards something. We have discussed this idiom in the previous session. Here I was explaining the context, it could be used in a sense of a restaurant buffet, I also gave this example.

While "forbid" might seem like it could be broken down into "for" and "bid," it's actually a single word with its own meaning.
