Quick correction at 1:02 Florentino Pérez is not Real Madrid's owner. He is merely the President. Technically, Real Madrid is owned by it's 'socios', same as Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao and Osasuna. In a way, it's like having share holders, but not really, as a 'socio' owns a fixed and proportional part of the club. The condition of the socio may be transferred back to the club, but it cannot be sold (neither to an individual nor to a company) and no socio may be socio more than once so technically, Real Madrid cannot be sold nor purchase (if it's not by agreement of more than half of the 'socios'). This type of ownership is a holdover of prior times. Technically speaking, all spanish clubs should've rearrenge themselves into plc's, however, special disposition was given to the clubs who had it's finances in order, so they could maintain their legal status unaltered, and at that time only Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao and AC Osasuna met the legal requirements for that disposition to apply.

We feel like certain players also don't actually care about the club, and that they're just here to collect paychecks every week. Us supporters are furious with the board and club, we would certainly not collaborate with them like this.

Actually Mbappe has a third option: run down his contract. He is in no way obligated to sign anything or leave this year. It would be bonkers to have him not play next season. Real is limited by FFP rules so they won't be able to sign him this year.

The truth is, since no top players in their prime would consider PSG a destination over Real, Bayern or City, PSG, if they want to win the UCL, must pay out higher wages than their European counterparts in order to seek out the best talent. However, in their primer players very rarely seek money alone, but also reputation. On the other hand, mercenaries (gold diggers) are very rarely the best players (Ruben Neves to Al Hilal etc.) or are usually past their prime (Sergej M-S to Al Hilal etc.).

You know, as a Messi and Argentina fan i used to dislike Mbappe for what he represented (Losing wc 2018 to france, Leo being mistreated at PSG, France almost beating us at the 2022 wc final). But looking at how things turned out, i grew to like Kylian. He's a terrific player and seems like a decent humble guy who wants the best for his club and teammates. Fun Fact: When you actually go through most of the RMA fan forums, most RMA fans don't want Mbappe, chiefly for four reasons. 1. RMA is going through a youth renovation recently (Bellingham, Arda Guler etc.), Mbappe is 24, while RMA targets are typically around 20 or 21. 2.
