Sir,In a peripheral setup,can I start aspirin,clopod,statin without taking ct..?is the aspirin contraindicated in hemorrghic stroke?
@AETCMEmergencyMedicine3 жыл бұрын
Yes.. Aspirin cam increase the hemorrhage
@AETCMEmergencyMedicine3 жыл бұрын
As you are aware 85 % it's ischemic stroke, aspirin can defenitley help in this group of patients but a group of patient can come with hemorrhage in whom aspirin can worsen the Bleed... So after detail explanation to bystanders give aspirin in a peripheral setup (prior to ct) with a possible benefit for 85% of patients

Without ruling out a hemorrhagic stroke aspirin shouldn't be used

Sir as u said that unilateral weakness of limbs can also be present in patient of seizure after attack..... sir thus it recover on its own???? or we have to give some meds to patient???? ..... thus in such case we have to rule out CVA by performing ct or MRI in already diagnosed GCTS patient????
@AETCMEmergencyMedicine3 жыл бұрын
Usually Todd's Paralysis will improve by itself, you need to evaluate Seizure with either ct or mri...
