Yep, time to get the burner out. But keep in mind this is just early stages, and needs much more work.

1 confusion, If we eventually get hypervisor+ a53 broken and have fpkgs of PS5, Do we need ( hypervisor+ a53 ) to install and run fpkgs also or that could work on higher FW with exploit like we have..?

Yeah, hypervisor plus the ability to control that chip should = PS5 FPKGS

@@rohan1765 You need HV+A53 to by pass the security check for install, running is sandboxed in the HV once installed so may not need that A53. As for higher FWs, not currently as there is no exploit above the BD escape known right now.

Here on 6.50.. I had purchased my ps5 back in 2021 @ Target. I had pawned my friend my PS5 a while back for a few months till i paid him back the $ i owed him. During that time however he updated it from 4.03 to 6.50, I was so upset w/ him. Anyways @ the current like I mentioned its on 6.50 also w/ Mastercore Oksage game installed. Thinking back i do know for a fact when i 1st opened up my ps5 i did update it all the way to 4.03. Can’t remember what firmware it originally had, is there a way to find that out/? Anyhoot, thanks Mcrump for ur videos/! 👍

You can guestermate using the serial number and production date. However you will not be able to return to the earlier version.

Because I don’t own a Blu-ray drive, is it possible to use a jailbroken PS4 to burn Blu-ray discs through PS4 Linux?

Off course not. The PS4 blu-ray drive is a blu-ray reader not a blu-ray writer

Java is a menuing standard for BD movies it's not supported in DVD containers. It is highly unlikely that you can launch the JAR-exploit from a DVD it's a completely different layout standard. If you want to try you can burn the iso to the DVD +/- R/RW and give it a whirl. I would do it but I don't have any DVD or CD media to hand.
