stage2 payload isn't injecting on ps4 but on the GUI app sending stage2 payload is already done.

I am still running 7.55. I cloned my original PS4 1tb HDD to 1tb SSD plugged SSD into PS4 and worked like a charm Now I am going to mod custom firmware version 9 If anything goes wrong I can always clone my original PS4 HDD Again I am new to PS4 modding. ​​@@DonMarv00I have done it. My PlayStation screwed up while I was doing and custom firmware job. Mind you I didn't know what I was doing I got to the end and was running 7.50 or 7.55 I think. Then my CFW SSD screwed up somehow froze. I formatted using a computer cloned the original PS4 HDD. And shoved it back in work like a charm. But the original firmware and the custom firmware were the same. Maybe that's the difference If I would have upgraded to CFW 9 then it might not have worked Because they are different firmwares. Not discrediting you and what you say you know 10 times more than what I know. That's just what happened with me. Thanks for the response

It’s not possible to upgrade or revert firmwares with just a HDD

@@megabaneen8057 You need to have the same firmware. So update your old disk to 9.00 along updating your PS4 to 9.00. Otherwise that old disk won't be usable anymore (if you updated your console with new disk leaving the old one with unmatching firmware version).

Nothing happening after hitting button run exploit, says loading and that's it. Testing on 9.00. Installed all the prerequisites and doing all the steps like you described. Just to see how fast will jailbreak, but something is not right and is not working at all.

Wouldn't going to from 9.00 to 11.00 technically allow you to play most of the recent games without requiring backport fixes? You will again be able to backup your disks. So is not entirely useless to update i guess. I will still wait for some homebrew apps to have official support for 11 though.

yeah, it would allow you to physically dump those games and run them much easier. But again, most of the new games are already dumped and also have the patches ready.

This is something you shouldn’t even consider seeing just how much time is put into this jailbreak. Stay on 9.00, there is no game you can play on 11.00 that wouldn’t work on 9.00

@@neetkyun7644 yes if the ps4 shuts down but the trick is to go to rest mode instead of shutting it down, but if it's on rest mode and then you disconnect the ps4 from the electricity then it can get corrupted.
