It's Q210, but it's indeed truly a northbound (Cayce SC to Louisville KY). Here, we simply call all trains "southbounds" that go in the direction of Atlanta (most of those trains are actually southbounds).

Great video. Cool shots. Looks like you guys have had lots of action on that day.

Thanks. It depends. Sometimes there is a sequence of trains, but then there are also periods with nothing going on for hours.

Hallo mbmars 01 .Ich finde eure Videos sehr gut .

+Werner Sievers Many thanks. I'm glad you like the details I try to catch as well.

Are you able to guesstimate how fast these trains typically go through there?
@mbmars014 жыл бұрын
Track speeds in this area are 45-50 mph.

How long was the first train that was over the seaboard bridge
@tylercorbin80736 жыл бұрын
AC4400CW Productions The video said 11,535ft that’s over 2 miles.

WHy were you trying to follow that same long mix manifest freight train ?
@mbmars018 жыл бұрын
+The Explore Master Haha, why not? I like to watch the same train at various locations. It is also good for the video, in particular if one missed a nice detail during the first encounter.
@gy19528 жыл бұрын
Okay because usually it's hard to do stuff like that.
@mbmars018 жыл бұрын
+The Explore Master You're right. Train chasing is quite a bit of a challenge at times.

24:53 why would he have to blow the horn when a train is already on the tracks
@mbmars016 жыл бұрын
Blowing the horn is a safety measure. It's written in the railroad's rule book when they have to blow the horn and which pattern of sounds.
@tylercorbin80736 жыл бұрын
mbmars01 I agree on the safety but it’s obvious that no car is going to try to cross
@mbmars016 жыл бұрын
I understand your logic, but keep in mind that some crossings are located behind curves or are obstructed otherwise. They simply don't have different rules for different situations (it would be too complicated). Having said that, some towns have actually introduced quiet zones, where trains don't blow the horn anymore.
@tylercorbin80736 жыл бұрын
mbmars01 Now I have to say there should no quiet zones people can be stupid, but I understand people don’t like “noise” lol
