My mom actually got to catch someone in this exact lie! Only she did have the pleasure of telling the liar that she in fact owned the house. Any time I saw her son in school all I could think of was his mom lied about owning the house I lived in.

I wish I had more information to give! We don’t know what she was trying to accomplish by lying. From what I remember my mom telling me that lady just took her kid and high tailed it out of this Girl Scouts meeting and proceed to avoid my mom forever. I kinda wish my mom would’ve played along and tried to invite herself over to see the place or something.
