My grandpa used to "go fishing"... he'd actually just sit somewhere nobody would come bother him and snack on the corn he'd brought as a lure 😂

Listening to this episode I was wondering what the fuck Griffin was talking about with Maury, but now I see it's a Tuesdays with Morrie reference and I feel pretty dumb.

griff's morrie joke is so much darker when you remember that he wasn't so much "chilling" as he was actively being ravaged by ALS
@orgeuillealkaliАй бұрын
The funny (funny weird, not funny ha-ha) thing for me is that I learned about the story Tuesdays with Morrie from officiating a funeral for a young man who loved this book. It was such a big part of who he was that when the family chose his niche at the columbarium, they picked a spot that resembled the sloping hill and bench. One of the things I will never forget.

Do they have a filter on to make them all have the same voice. Its really cool
@BeckyS27 күн бұрын
😂 this is legit hilarious. No, no filter. They're brothers. When I starred listening to the podcast I couldn't tell them apart, now I can't mistake them. Except that one time they redid an episode but swapped parts...that was wonderful.

Honestly felt. Except I’m not an old man. I’m a 25 year old autistic woman who just really likes being left alone. 😂
@spacegay603028 күн бұрын
lmao I was just about to comment about how all of our old grandpas who liked to go out fishing (especially if it was more than just a casual hobby to them) were just autistic dudes finally getting the damn peace and quiet they didn't understand they needed for a long time lol (cuz of being drafted and going to war for example)
