18 years ago my dad would make me run backwards as he went forwards. He blew his knee and hammy out in college and learned the benefit of going backwards. I also as a gymnast noticed my flexibility prevented injury. However 5 years ago i had a building collapse on me. Using ATG and Goata movements I've almost gotten back to 100%. This has motivated me to transfer my focus to becoming a trainer/coach. Thank you all for your inspiration, Mark, Nsima, Andrew, Ben, Mr Infinity, and the Goata crew. When I get my CPT, look forward to a DM. I would love to join the crew and bring Healthy wealth to everyone I can reach. Edit: To start my neck rehab I would put my shoulder to the edge of the bed and do essentially neck extensions 20 reps for 4 sets. all 4 axis'. up, down, left, right... This allows for full stretch and contraction. also super comfy to do.

I feel so terrific with tears running down my cheeks to be so blessed to be able to see this, Thank You guy so so much, hearing "listen to your own body" piece of advice may have been the most lifechanging thing I've ever heard in my entire life. I'm 21 years young and pretty much only started living 4 years ago after running around with severe undiagnosed median arcuate ligament syndrome as well as a bunch of knee problems for most of my life but like Marc said the answers are hidden within the body. Grateful for each and every one of you comrades Thanks again much love 💚💚💚

Trying to find a comment out there on one of these videos… essentially pointing to the fact that you should train for the results you desire… if you want mass and size, lift heavy, or if you want to excel at body movement, train such in that way… if anyone can find it let me know 🙌🏼

This podcast is amazing. I did not expect to get so much useful info from it. I do not agree with the point of getting heay carries on the ATG program and I am glad they haven't introduced them in the program. Tons of people cannot do them. And Ben made a good point asking Mark "Do you imagine my mother doing them?" The beauty of ATG is that everyexercise is easy regresable and easy progresable, and you can progress them to pro levels.

I believe 100% that everybody's different when it comes to diet bc Ive seen it first hand what works with one person may not work at all for someone else. But what he said about internitting fasting I think works for most ppl if you've never tried it. Eat a decent amount or alot of good in the evening/night. And then fast most of the next day. And you'll see that your mind is clearer, your energy will be sustained for a long period if time and it's weird you'll feel calmer but more also feel energetic and more alive in most ppl. Try it if u haven't it also helps ur body in digestion if ur having any issues
@willthomas5953
@willthomas5953 2 жыл бұрын
I even did this alot of times when I was bodybuilding. And if u looked at my physique you woudve prob guessed I was eating 5-6 meals or more a day. But I would generally fast and then pig out I evening/night. Try working out fasted if you've never done it you'll most ppl will actually feel better bc it's a primal instinct in us that when we're hungry we go out and hunt to kill our food.

NBA player Derrick Rose had his career derailed by injuries early on, and it has been theorized that his injuries were due to his poor diet (candy). The same thing goes for Anthony Davis currently. There's no way that diet does not have some type of impact on performance and recovery. Also, consider the impact on mental health.
@GarageGymFitnessCoachDee

Diet is one part, but in Derrick Rose case he was an explosion player so that time of style will lead to a shorter career. Also Rose was a huge partier, so that lessen his recovery time.
