I suspect Alex has gotten impatient, due to something in his personal lifestyle. Which is ironic, because he ends up "Just to see what I would have got" fast clicks anyways. I may be wrong about my reasoning, but it just feels like he's a smidge rushing ahead without thinking.

​@@RyanRitch Still would be nice for him to be the brain trust of builds. The interesting parts are the decks, duel, and commentary (unless you are exclusively here for MBT like me). Having someone who makes SUPER cool decks would greatly improve the series and let the casters focus on their strengths.

yeah it's honestly really sad. if i was alex i would've jumped 8 months ago. gage isn't just taking the lead, the lead is being given to him at this point. i really don't even know how alex is supposed to pull away from this streak when he's still trying to fight full-power pendulum magicians and altergeist with his blue-eyes and burning abyss decks that he made with sticks and glue after like 32 episodes. that one striker abc vs. plant synchro match felt like a light at the end of the tunnel, but at the end of the day...we are not progressing

I genuinely can't figure out gages thought process in game 2 removing the A equipped with B. Like, the whole point of those cards is to get value when sent to the graveyard and then be used, FROM THE GRAVEYARD, as fusion material. In what possible world would you ever want to send them to grave for absolutely no benefit when there's other valid targets on field

If the Nimbugs stop feeding their swarm leader with deckbuilding ideas, the disparity would not be this bad. Progression Series 2, but instead of progressing in decks, we're progressing in who's taking control of what, whenever.
